Colombia qualifies for Russia 2018...only just

It's all done and dusted, the Colombian national soccer team qualified for next year's World Cup in Russia by the skin of their teeth.
A 1-all draw Against Peru in Lima was enough to get them across the line.
To make a long story short, it should have been a piece of cake but last week's loss Paraguay in Barranquilla kept us on tenterhooks.
Brazil knocking over Chile, in Sao Paolo,  helped let us off the hook.
In the end they got their act together and  fans can now eagerly look forward to 2018.
Whether or not Colombia can match their heroics of 2014 in Brazil, is another matter, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
