❝To have another language is to possess a second soul.❞ ‒ Charlemagne
I first visited Colombia in 2007. I decided to come to South America, because I love to travel, and I had always been fascinated by stories of the Amazon, The Andes Mountains, The native Indian people, and much more. I went to Chile, Peru, Venezuela, Panama, Cuba, but Colombia was the Country that really captured my attention. The people were so friendly, the food was so delicious, the landscapes were stunning, the trees, plants, and flowers were exotic and beautiful, the Sea was inviting, and, of course, the Women were the most beautiful in the world.
So I went home to New Zealand, but I couldn't get Colombia out of my mind. Looking back now, I was falling in love. So I decided to come back to Colombia for another holiday in 2008. I visited Bogota, Medellin, Cartagena, Barranquilla, Santa Marta, and a little of the Coffee region. Eventually, I had to go home again, but this time I knew I would be back again soon, I was definitely in love!
In 2009 I made the decision to come and live in Colombia. It has been a great adventure living here. Not always easy, but never boring. Life in Colombia is always full of surprises. Come back soon, and I'll tell you more about my adventures here in Colombia.
