Well, it depends. I offer a full range of online classes, focused on your individual Needs, Goals and Interests.
Generally speaking, I charge $80,000 Colombian Pesos per hour (about US$21).

Exactly, what do I get if I decide to join your program?...
First, you get an Assessment/Evaluation, which includes Vocabulary, Grammar, the 4 abilities (Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking), your unique Learning style.
Second, I give you a general Questionnaire, so I can get to know you better (your interests, goals, passions, private/professional, family, Past/Present/Future). The First and Second are very important at the beginning, so I can create the best learning experience for YOU, your own personal Course Program.
Third, you get access to my website - Kiwiprofesor.com which is full of resources to help you become more fluent and feel more confident using English - a little bit every day.
Fourth, As I said, it’s very important to practice your English every day, so I'm always available via Skype/Whatsapp/Google chats, to practice conversation when you’re not in class, YES, that means EVERY DAY...live...with me, your Kiwiprofesor.
What about your Methodology?...
Yes, that’s a very important question. I don’t want to confuse you here, but within English Language education, there are a variety of methods, or ways of teaching. One example is what we call Functional language, which is useful for everyday Communication. I am comfortable in a variety of methodologies, and I choose which specific methodology (or which parts of each methodology), depending on each individual Student. Everyone is different, and I believe no one methodology is best, all have their place and time. For example a younger student might be more comfortable with Total Physical Response or Silent Way. Some Students benefit from Project-based learning, for others, task-based learning might be appropriate. The Direct method uses a strictly Oral approach, in combination with your native Spanish language. The Grammar method is a more traditional form of language instruction, common in the past, and still has it’s place. It very much depends on each Students, and their personal abilities, needs, and requirements.
What type of Students do you have?...
I have Students of all ages, from 12 years old up. My main focus, however, is Business people and Professionals from many areas e.g. Engineering, Accounting, Finance and Banking, Medicine, Information Technology, Commerce, International Trade, Tourism, Airline Industry, Design, etc.
I have experience with all of these areas, and so I can offer you a special course focussing on exactly what YOU need.
I have particular expertise helping IT professionals like Developers, Systems Engineers etc.
How long will it take for me to learn English, and be fluent?...
That’s another excellent question, and the answer is very important. You have probably seen on T.V. or the Internet, or a flyer (folleto) that came to your house, saying the you can learn “English fast”, “learning English is easy”, “learn when you sleep”, “learn with no homework”...all these statements are absolute LIES. You know they are lies, but maybe you want to believe they are true. I want to be totally honest with you here - learning English (or any language) is not easy, it’s not fast, it takes a lot of practice to be fluent. You must be motivated and disciplined...every day. BUT! I have some good news for you, YOU CAN DO IT. If you choose me as your English Language Personal Trainer, I promise to be beside you, all the way, every day. To motivate you when you feel lazy, to gently correct your mistakes, and to give you confidence to speak to anyone, anywhere, anytime. My job is to know you, what you like, what you need, and to provide learning experiences and activities that target YOU. I’ll say it again, because it’s true - YOU CAN DO IT.
Do you speak Spanish in general, do you use Spanish in class, Kiwiprofesor?...
Yo hablo Espanol ma’ o meno’, como dicen los Costenos, Costenol hablo yo. Aprendi en las calles arenosas de Barranquilla. Falta mucha pero yo tambien estoy alumno de un lengua, entonces yo se exactamente como es, eso experiencia me arma mas como educador tambien. En general hablo Espanol casi nunca o absolutamente minimo en mi clase, obviamente aveces es mas rapido a explicar una palabrita o un frase en espanol, que toma media hora a explicar en ingles, todo depende, pero mi meta es a te ofresco un ambiente (en idioma y cultur) puro Ingles. Don’t be afraid though, I speak to your level, and at your speed...slowly we build you up until one day you’re fluent...imagine that day!
Why do you call yourself an English Language Coach?...
I want to explain to you my idea about the difference between a teacher and an English Language Coach. I remember my teachers from school, some of them where good, some not so good. All of them stood at the front of the class, they knew everything, we knew nothing. We weren’t allowed to speak very much, especially not to each other. We had no ability to determine what or how we learned. Today, the world is a very different place. Technology has brought us the internet, computers, cellphones, and all the programs and apps that come with them. Google has more knowledge than all the teachers of the world combined. But there’s something that technology can’t do...that is really understand you. Know all about you - what you like and hate, your passions and fears, your family, your future plans, your professional goals, your favourite things.
So I call myself your English Language Coach, because I’m more like your personal trainer at the gym...I push you, I motivate you, I encourage you, I guide you, I help you. I know you can learn English, you can be fluent. I won’t give up, and I won’t let you give up. What are you waiting for?....English is waiting for you.
What do I get at the end of the course, Certificate, Diploma etc?...
I have a Certificate in Teaching English Language from Cambridge University (CELTA). I am trained and experienced in preparing Students for all International English Exams, e.g. TOEFL, IELTS, Michigan, etc.
My courses are all linked to the Common European Framework of references for Languages. I will prepare you for any Internationally-recognised Exam, together we will practice and work very hard, until I know you will pass - that’s my guarantee. Maybe you don't want, or need an International qualification. In that case, I can provide my own personal Certification, including full evidence of all your coursework and material (based on the CEFL). This, along with your new level of fluency and confidence, will help you get that job you deserve.
